Blood Pressure Monitoring

At Seaview Pharmacy we provide a blood pressure measuring service. Our machines measure both your blood pressure and your heart rate and can also detect an irregular heart-beat if it exists.

Monitoring your blood pressure is important because undetected and/or uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension) can lead to serious health problems.

Regular self-monitoring can assist your health care professional to evaluate your blood pressure trend and is a good way to detect changes early and take appropriate action.

Our staff can help assist you to self-monitor your blood pressure, provide advice and referral to your GP if necessary.
